I have worked very hard for our family to not be hoarders. I swear I have children who do not feel the same way, but I usually feel like I'm keeping things decluttered.
However ...
Every time I touch the basement, I realize that we cannot stop hoarding stuff. I have NO idea how things accumulate. I feel like I'm throwing them away. I really do. But, it's obvious that it's not happening.
It is possible that my children may be holding onto stuff and I'm just finding their hiding spots. That is possible. Maybe I'm not doing a good enough job in following them to make sure they are following through on getting rid of things.
In any case, I have only done a small portion of the basement and I already have like 7 bags in the back of my van to take to Goodwill. Please tell me I am not alone in things breeding in the basement!
